Charming little apartment in the beating heart of the city, living in Monreale, in the province of Palermo, allows you to appreciate its history, its culture, and recharge with the vibrant energy that only Sicily, a unique island in the world, can give you. This little house is located on the second and top floor (of a steep staircase, typical of the homes of the past found in the historic center), on the left side of a larger building. The entrance opens onto a cozy kitchen where the ceiling has been partially lowered with drywall, adding a touch of modernity to the environment; moreover, the spotlights positioned in correspondence with the cooking area diffuse a warm light, creating an ideal atmosphere during meal preparation. A balcony overlooking Corso Pietro Novelli offers you a view of the former Civic Hospital of Santa Caterina, recently restored and now used as a municipal historical archive (http://ascm.somee.com/index.asp), of passersby on weekdays, and of residents and tourists strolling on holidays, enjoying events and shows (both religious and non-religious), giving you a glimpse of Sicilian life, now forgotten by those living in big cities; a cozy single bedroom leads to the bathroom, equipped with a shower, which is arranged on multiple levels, with the toilet accessible by climbing a step, along with the sink, and an additional step leads to the shower; this original layout adds uniqueness as well as being a surprising element in the house. Property viewings are conducted every day by appointment.
